Marriage and family therapist
Jacqueline Brubaker, AMFT
Jacqueline Brubaker is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who works with thoughtful, high-achieving individuals and couples seeking greater clarity, emotional connection, and meaningful change. Many of her clients are creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals navigating demanding careers while also wanting healthier relationships and a stronger sense of self.
Jacqueline graduated summa cum laude from Capella University with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.
Before becoming a therapist, Jacqueline spent more than 20 years working in the television and film industry, earning two Emmy Awards and collaborating on major productions. This experience gives her a unique understanding of the pressures faced by ambitious and creative individuals—balancing performance, visibility, and high expectations while trying to maintain authentic connection in their personal lives.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. Jacqueline draws from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and collaborative therapeutic approaches to help clients explore the patterns and stories that shape their identities and relationships. Together, she and her clients work to create new perspectives, strengthen emotional awareness, and build practical tools for lasting change.
Jacqueline particularly enjoys working with couples, helping partners develop healthier communication, deepen emotional intimacy, and better understand the attachment patterns that influence their relationship dynamics. Her work also supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational conflict, life transitions, and recovery from emotionally harmful relationships, including narcissistic abuse.
Jacqueline believes therapy should be a space where clients feel deeply seen and understood—a place where they can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.
